Bottle from Duque. It pours darker than expected... clear deep amber - brown with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, resinous, brown bread, wood, dried fruits and orange marmalade. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, piney, resin, orange marmalade, tried fruits, chewy malt, brown bread and a touch of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit heavier than expected for an IPA, but enjoyable enough anyhow.
