Bottle at home after a long Saturday. Busy morning. Afternoon with the wife and ending up with a nice cream tea. Cream first of course. Anyway, time for a couple of beers. Good pour and a really good traditional best bitter. Well balanced rich malt that meant there was a hell of a lot going on for a low abv. Nice one.

Bottle at home while making dinner. Got the temperature just right, good pour and a fantastic appearance in the tankard. Lots of malt flavours that are really well balanced with bitter hops. And a great and rich mouthfeel. There is a huge amount going on in this top beer.

Bottle at home while the barbecue gets going. Terrible day for weather, but I'm still barbecuing! Good pour and head but a bit of an odd taste. Fruity hops and bitterness, but not in harmony. In fact they are quite jarring. Drinkable but not the best. Opening a bottle of St Emilion Grand Cru after this.

On cask in London. Smooth mild and fresh beginning. Easy to drink, smooth and a bit grainy body, fresh but a bit piney. Nice Ale-characteristics, fresh and mild aftertaste. Nice!

Long few days away in Cork with work. We had a great session of night canoeing but I'm shattered. Drive back from Gatwick and this was the first beer. A really tasty blonde beer that slipped down a treat. Flavour and mouthfeel in spades.

Cask at the Tiger Inn, Beachy Head. Poured a clear light yellow golden colour with little life and plenty of bubbles. The flavour is light bitter, with a light, watery, light herbal, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation.

Cask handpull at The Roebuck Inn Langham. Clear amber colour lasting beige head. Excellent condition. Good malty bitter. Some sweetness. Some spice hop on finish. Decent.
