Bottle, batch A.06.2016 (from het biermoment). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, malty, sugar, some hops, some rubber. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, some citrus, slight booze, some rubber. Finish is sugary sweet, malt, and some citric bitterness. Drinkability is fine. Overall: ok-ish, but doesn’t really grab.

Bottle from hetbiermoment, bottled Aug 2016, large sample. Dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of lots of roast, dark bread, tar, licorice, bit peat. Lots kf roasty bitterness, dark bread, bit licorice saltiness. Bit too much on the dark malts, in an unbalanced way. Slight alcohol in the finish. Back to the drawing board im afraid.

Almost clear deep reddish amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, some light cream and a mild sweetness. Light tangerine and orange peel. Hop spice, well buried. Pithy bitterness and then hop spice increasing. Semi dry finish. Lacks hop brightness but it’s alright.

330 ml. bottle. Batch 03.2016. Hazy orange, little off-white head. Nose is strange soapy hops, burned butterscotch, rotting peach, grapefruit peel, soap, vague brett,... Taste very odd brett, soap malt, sugar, moldy orange peel, brett profile reminds me vaguely of Orval, base is odd malts, burned butterscotch, caramel, more soap, finish is bitter mold brett & dried orange peel,... Body is soap, malt, brett,... Like a very odd soapy messy take on Orval. Very odd & messy, not entirely successful, an odd one. Not all beers can be sadly Orval I suppose, not sure if that is what they were going for.
