Bottle from Waitrose. Clear amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange marmalade, pine and grass. Flavour of grapefruit, rust and orange peel. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Restrained and tangy.

33cl bottle from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. A glossy black pour with a thin beige head; aroma of chocolate malts and rum soaked raisins; a thick chocolatey body with some sour fruit and a bitterness from deeply roasted malts; then a long dry finish with cocoa powder and warming alcohol.

Tap at Herbert Wells, Woking. Hoppy sweaty aroma (the latter could be the Spoons). Bright gold, a tad hazy. Bright white head. Medium bitter. V creamy. Sessionably hoppy. OK - but not biggest fan of Session IPA.

330ml bottle from a Waitrose store in Peterborough. Shared with Finn on a train to Leicester. Frothy off-white head, lacing rings down the glass. Unclear amber-gold body. Toasted hops on the nose. Taste of orange, bread and dough. Rounded ending, bittersweet. Quite alright. (11.02.2019).

Keg at Victoria Station Spoons. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, bread, grassy, dank, tropical fruits, nectarine, peach, mango and banana. The taste is crisp, bitter, pretty juicy, pine, dry peppery spice, grass, tropical fruits, grapefruit, light banana, cracker and white bread with a lingering dry, citrusy finish. Light - medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. The taste is almost a touch harsh (or too light to carry the bitterness) but overall it is rather fresh and tasty.

9th Sep 2016: can in Layton Rake (Wetherspoons), Blackpool. Like it’s slightly stronger bottled brother this can hold it’s own against some of the harshly bittered ’West Coast’ IPA’s coming out of California. Amber bodied with a thin white head it oozes hops from start to finish, malts in the background but playing their part too. --- Beer merged from original tick of Treason on 06 Mar 2022 at 15:54 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Original review text: 440ml can; BBD 23rd July 2022. Drank at home on 6th March 2022. Hazy orange body, full, deep, soft foaming head. Fruity nose and taste with a hop bitter backbone, decent.

In comparison to the can, this one is more smooth dusty due to the yeast. The body is grainy with some floral hops. Intense floral piney hops. Round and fresh floral and creamy yeasty in the end. Nice, but I like the can better for the crispness and therefore more intense hops.
