Description
We approach brewing like a musician composing a song.

Each beer begins with an inspiration: from nature, food, or an unforgettable experience.

Production is patient, personal and reflective; the vision evolves until it is brought to life in the glass.

Like the song, each beer is our expression, but the enjoyment and interpretation is yours.

Cheers!

At Alesong, our approach to brewing is patient and artistic. 100% of our beer is matured in barrels and then consciously blended to create a complex and unique beverage experience. Drawing inspiration from like-minded artisans across the globe, the goal is to create beers that are innovative and unique, yet approachable and balanced. And with flavors that range from tart and fruity to rich and malty, there's something for every palate.

We believe that beer is worthy of contemplation and reverence and hope to share that passion with you.

500 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium creamy beige head. A huge orange nose, roast, coffee. The oily orange peel is huge, surely larger than anticipated, roast, coffee, light vanilla. Very nice, the orange is just a bit huge. Like a cadbury orange chocolate. Solid.

Big galaxy fan so some bias here. The Brett is strong here but so is the galaxy, on the nose and front. Hard to distinguish, but just gotta let go and let the aroma and flavor hit you however. Perfect risotto beer, slight fruit on nose, crisp golden still

2018 bottle. Thanks, Albert! Pours a clear, ruby color, with a pretty big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is strong rum, anise, black pepper, cherry wood, toffee, and toast. Sweet and boozy. Medium body, with a sharp, acrid, and thin mouthfeel. This is a very complex, drying, and phenolic quad. Interesting, but not great.

Keg at LCBF 2019 - Friday evening session. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Great depth, lots of cocoa, espresso, coffee ice cream, vanilla, burnt marshmallows, light ashy roast. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming and lightly sticky in the finish. Really solid.

Huge blueberry flavor (quite rare to pull off), slightly effervescent but just slightly, nice and tart finish. Sweet sweet nose.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy bright reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense tart cherries upfront, with alcohol, and moderate funk. Flavour is very puckering, with intensely sour cherries upfront, moderate-high acidity, gentle funk, and some alcohol. It's not the most refined beer, but it's a pleasant, acidic, pucker bomb. Decent.

11/2018. Need to update after vintages. Lovely one after too many drain pours in one night (also cleared old IPAs). Damn lovely super juicy, super duper juicy, wild ale. Dry hopped lovely with a gorgeous wild finish. Citra love + Wild funky dry finish.
