At Alesong, our approach to brewing is patient and artistic. 100% of our beer is matured in barrels and then consciously blended to create a complex and unique beverage experience. Drawing inspiration from like-minded artisans across the globe, the goal is to create beers that are innovative and unique, yet approachable and balanced. And with flavors that range from tart and fruity to rich and malty, there's something for every palate.

On tap at at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Pours hazy golden, white head. Fruity, passion fruit, some citrus, moderate sourness, soft carbonation, light bodied.

Sample at What The Funk!? on 10/04/2017. Purplish-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of berry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart berries, mildly funky yeast and a bit of doughy malt. The finish is moderately sour with a blackberry aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Sample at What The Funk!? on 10/04/2017. The beer pours black with some brown around the edges, and a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate and coconut. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, toasted coconut and vanilla. The finish is oaky and roasty with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sample at Hops & Pie during the "GABF Week, CSA Portfolio Tasting" on 10/04/2017. Clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Aroma of yeast, fruit and mild hops. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, fruit, hops and a bit of floral honey. The finish is fruity with a yeast and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Ah, so this is what guava really tastes like. Pours cloudy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is sweet tropical notes of guava, passion fruit and fruit peel, as well as hay and grassy notes. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet tropical notes of guava, passion fruit and fruit peel, as well as hay and grassy notes.

On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Pours cloudy orangey red, with a small creamy head. Aroma is tart fruity notes of forest berries, blueberries and musty fruits, as well as raspberry candy, wooden barrels and earthy bretty notes. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes, with raspberries, blueberries and musty fruits, as well as sour candy, hay and wooden notes. Lingering sour fruity notes in the finish.

On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Pours pale yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is citrusy hops, and bretty notes of berries and fruit peel, as well as hay floral notes. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity brett, hay, floral notes and malts with bread. Lingering tart brett in the finish.
