Mooch tasting at Matt's
Hazy golden color with generous head. Nice aroma, spices and apricots. A bit too yeasty, dirty, also spicy and with citrus peel.
Dirty clumsy beer, not bad.

Hazy, thin head. Light tan colour. Sort of a peachy, fruity note. This has a light bit of phenols, a touch of sweetness. Too phenolic, and that takes away from whatever brightness they were trying to express with this one.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of farmhouse yeast, some esters, and light earth. Flavour is dryer, with farmhouse yeast, light earthiness and moderate spiciness. Doesn't quite have the aged character to qualify as an authentic biere de garde, but it's quite a decent farmhouse ale.
