When we started this company, our goal was to keep it as straightforward as possible: to craft flavors and experiences that the people of Maine hadn’t had before, and serve them as fresh as possible. Over the years, as the business has grown, we are now able to share our beers with people in other areas – regionally, nationally, and internationally – but Maine always comes first. We strive to take care of those things closest to us, and let that radiate outward: our staff, our processes for making beer, our tap rooms and loyal customers, and the surrounding communities that support us. Everything we do is in support of these things, we are nothing without them.

Beautiful hops in the nose show attenuated tropical fruit juice with soft tangerine and some grapefruit. Dainty, honey-like malts remain out of the way.
Cracker and tangerine atop a fairly watery body. I appreciate that Bissell's beers are generally very dry, but this one is also a bit thin. Otherwise the flavors are bright and excellent.

Delicate blueberry in the nose before a spicy, lightly piney hop character and low but ample malt. No sugar or artificial character.
Texture is soft and fuzzy but amply malty despite low sweetness. These blueberries are as good as any whole fruit in my book. One of the best purees I've had. And there's plenty of beer character as a result. No cheap, sweet, dominant fake blueberry. Very easy drinking.

Good, clean, not too sweet or acidic raspberry allows for some malt behind it. The fruit is very soft and aromatic.
Fruity and light with a not too thin texture but there's no sugar or artificialty. Light and easy with peppery bitterness and some PNW hopping. There's a fuzziness to the texture that adds perceived body that is really well done.

Pint of pulp. Fruity nose, tropicals and stone fruits, perfume, light booze. Flavors all follow. Green grape and gooseberry arrive too. Finishes nice. Soft and just ever so off dry.

On tap at the brewery. Nose has molasses, tons of port, burnt caramel, dried herbs, tons of malt. Flavor has barrel, port, lots of molasses and dried fruits, cherries and figs and dates. Hot. Sticky. Boozy.

Starchy, opaque orange with a ring of creamy white head. Nose has stone fruits, peach cobbler, perfume, sweet herbs. Flavor has clear canned peach, a little yellow cake, mango, some papaya icey. Creamy finish. Decidedly new school.

Pours hazy gold into a willi. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Kumquat and tangerine aromas. Medium bodied with sweet hay and lemon/lime upfront turning to mild sourdough in the medium length finish.

Bottled 500ml. -from the brewery shop. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, chocolate and light maple in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and light maple with noticable but balanced alcohol. Sweetish finish.
