355ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty and minimally caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate and mocha, some toffee, whiffs of burnt caramel. Taste is roasty and chocolately, slightly nutty, dark malty and slightly caramel malty with some residual sweetness, minimally diluted notes of dark chocolate, mocha, toffee, dark caramel, a touch of white coffee, liquorice, minimally fruity overtones with a touch of dried fruit, plum butter; minimally alcoholic and metallic finish.
Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, medium, foamy to creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Intense, some nice "dirty" flavours - pretty good.

Brewver Top 50 for the style. 16 ounce can from Tavour. Dark brown pour is topped by a generous frothy tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, chocolate and charred wood. Flavor is rich and roasty. Big chocolatey notes initially. Wonderfully complex flavors of coffee, earth and toffee. A seriously good brew that improves with every sip.

BA supported, slightly roasty and chocolately, dark malty as well as caramel malty aroma, notes of Bourbon, vanilla, dark caramel, maple syrup, some toffee. Taste is BA supported, sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly roasty, dark malty, minimally alcoholic, notes of Bourbon, vanilla, dark caramel, maple syrup, some toffee, treacle, a touch of coffee; slightly warming, alcoholic finish.
Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Rather sweet and a tad boozy, nevertheless harmonious and a nice sipper - enjoyable.

A Brewver Top 50 for the style. Hazy yellow gold color. Mousse-like white head on top. Spectacular lacing. Earthy, bready malt aroma has yeasty notes. Farmhouse, estery malt flavor upfront. Some citrus and spice. Perhaps a hint of dried apricot and hay on backend. Dry finish. Pleasant.

Aromas are malt, bread, something bitter and a hint of butterscotch. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than bitter. Nitro works great here. Reminds me of the bitters I had in UK. Good stuff.

The somewhat mild aromas are citrus, dry grain, house dust and lumber. Flavors are similar to and bolder than nose. Bittersweet with great balance ending on a slightly sweet note. Great carbonation and body. Nice beer.

Pours a deep copper color that is mostly clear with a small off white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready toasty malts with hints of chocolate and caramel. Kind of old school citrus and pine really nice.

A bit of butter, a bit of oxidation and a fair bit of caramel in the nose, alongside a much darker than expected color make me think this one may be prematurely oxidized.
Oh yeah, that's no bueno. Buttery and papery with flat, old flavors and no expressive, well, anything. Not going to give a miserably low rating; I know this isn't a bad beer, just oxidation, which happens. I don't believe I've ever had an oxidized Bissell beer before, either, so I'm not too worried. Will score it once I get a better can.
