Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. Hazy orange, thick creamy white head. Nose is fluffy doughy grain, nice green grass hop, low pleasant green vegetable. Doughy yeasty, green grass, faint vegetable. Doughy body. Quite decent, seems nice within the style but I am not hugely familiar with the style.

From the tap at Ranzani13, Bologna, Italy. Pours fairly crisp gold, slightly pale, worth irregular white foam. Aroma is bready and fruity (banana and apricot), some perception of hesters. Body is average, a little stickiness. Taste is mostly sweet, though with a little feeling of spiciness. Finish is average, some sweetness persists.

From bottle. Pours dark brown, with very abundant brownish head. Aroma is herbaceous and resinous at first, but licorice and honey come out when warmer. Nice evolution of this beer. Body is light. Taste is predominantly bitter. But again, it improves with time, seeming more balanced when warmer. Finish has some residual bitterness, but enjoyable.

On tap @ Sebar. Light amber color with a massive rocky white head, persistent, cristallized. Astonishing smell of hops and soap. Aroma of american hops, citrus, marsiglia soap, lavender, resin. Some caramel malts too, but kicked out of the scene. Very soapy aftertaste. Taste is bitter, sustained carbonation, sharp bitter finish, long hoppy leftover. Somehow raw and unrefined, quite good.

12oz bottle I picked up in Italy pours a fairly deep brown with some lacing, beige head. Nose has a wild sour orange thing, almost pulpy, like grapefruit pith, soap, some crackery malt too, some sour grapes. Flavor has a lot of tart fruit, grape, even passion fruit, some raisin, prune, roasted grain, a little rubber. Full, tart finish. Interesting, not sure how they got here, maybe with some suspect dry hopping? Tastes a little like bad homebrew.
