Dark amber color, big caramel malty backbone with some citrus hops. Well balanced sweet malty mouth with a huge caramel malty whack and then a moderate bitter finish.

bottle thanks to Savvy1982, thanks Kyle. Pours hazy brown with a medium light tan head. Aroma is spice and caramel. Lots of vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor is pumpkin spice and caramel malts, a little nutty. Carbonation is moderate and the finish lingers with vanilla and nutmeg. Kind of reminds me of Schlafly’s Pumpkin beer, and that’s a good thing.

Bottle thanks to savvy1982. Pours with a deep brown (near black) body and a large tan head. Aromas of earth, nuts, chocolate, caramel and pine. A bit of herbal hops and citrus but they are light next to the pine notes. Flavors of mocha, tea, pine, butterscotch and nuts. Bitter from both roast and malt. Medium to lively bubbles, a slight more oily than most IPA’s or BIPA’s of this ABV.

Lots of roasted notes. Reminiscent of charcoal at first but as it warms i seem to associate it more with a light espresso flavor.

Heavy on the malt with a slight hop appearance on the back end. Lots of grapefruit

Where's the sweetness? Harsh and bitter chocolate with no balance. Not quite pleasant.

Doughy a bit with lots of banana flavor though still lacks cloves and other spices. Regardless, it's still tasty and has a tiny salty twinge

bit of fruit suggests a light sweetness with some low bitterness and a bit of a mineral edge. All very low-key.

More malt than hops though the hops leave their mark in the aftertaste. A nice overall caramel flavor minus the sweetness.
