Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops, elderflowers, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Black color; large head, solid. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee (strong) and yeast, quite obvious. Dry mouthfeel, strong roasted malt and chocolate flavor, with liquorice; coffee and light yeast in the end, a bit creamy. Not exceptional, but with some extra peculiar points..

Hazy blond color. Aroma of brewer’s malt, light yeast. The flavor is too anonymous, the light malt is even joined by a vague vegetables trace. Simple.

Hazy orange-amber color. The aroma is comfortably fruity and malty, elegant. Good caramel flavor; the yeast created a good combination of esters, light fruit, soft spice. Correct bitterness. Solid brew.

Beautiful copper-amber color, with a minimal, creamy head. The aroma, mild, with toffee, lightly sweet, has moderate resiny hops, for an almost creamy concoction. Strong body, toffee and malt flavor, sweet; strong hopping, resiny but not much fruity. Strong final, hop-oily.
Solid, but nothing new under the sun, therefore also pricey.

bottle thanks to my kick-ass trading partner to the North, Savvy1982, pours thick black, tall dark tan head. Aroma is pine hops, roasted malt and thin chocolate notes. The oak is present as well. Strong vanilla and burnt caramel flavors with a little booze and earthy wood and hop elements. Really nice porter.

Courtesy of after4ever. Thanks Tom. Pours copper with some gold edges and thin off white head. The aroma has lots of sticky pine and grassiness as well as leafy herbally notes. The taste is sweet with thick malts and heavy intense pine and grassy hops. Nice thick resiny goodness here.
