I think this was my opener. Get it in before the impy styles. In town with the wife for work. Dragging her around after dinner.

Dank & socks on the nose, very minor woody citrus.
Dank, pine, peppery, lingering white pith astringency.
Sharp, fizzy, okay.

Very dark brown, not quite black, could be translucent. It's a little dim sitting outside. Trust your nose. Weak ring of cocoa.
Smell is warming mole sauce, but cut with acidic cola.
Crazy high acid upfront. More cinnamon & dry cocoa than chilis. Peppers are very prickly but only singe slightly. Lingering oily cocoa nibs, sharp fruit & chalky baking powder. #Dr Pepper.
Didn't like this much.

Dirty brown on black pour, mocoa froth.
Steeped hot chocolate with too much milk & vanilla bean nose.
Semisweet. Carob, bakers chocolate, mellow coffee, chocolate liquor, creme, lingering bittersweet char.
Frothy, a little oily, warming.
Okay enough.

Dense pomegranate hazy pour. One of two incorrectly labeled pours on my flight.
Sour, astringent, veggie & red fruit smoothie nose.
Bittersharp fruit juice, puree, big pog-like flavors but leaning pineapple with a bitter chalky vitamin astringency.
Sizzling acidity & tartness, but semisweet overall.

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration, 2025. Early Friday. Pours black with a small beige head. Roasty, ashy and licorice. Some cocoa. Smooth. Decent. 3.7

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some dankness, hopburn, and plenty of chalk. Flavour is full of hopburn, tons of chalk, not really any pleasant hop expression. Very poor.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Yellow session), pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright piney hops, some hop tang, and some citrus. Flavour is bright, with citrus hops, bright pine, and some dankness. Dank, piney and tangy. Excellent.
