Description
Danko Beer is quite simple really. Some friends brewing beer. At our own micro brewery in Sundbyberg where we also live, in Stockholm, Sweden. This is what we do. At friends places. At brew pubs and breweries world wide. We brew beer.

Our main products are always brewed by ourselves at our tiny local brewery in Sundbyberg, Sweden. We also have great fun brewing our Local Beta prototype series just about anywhere and everywhere. We never let anyone else brew Danko Beer, simply because we love the actual brewing process. Even the heavy lifting. and the constant cleaning. Marketing is for people who avoid all of that.

Sampled at VCBF 2017. Thnx for sharing, Tim and Eugene ! Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is aromatic, creamy malts. Dry saison yeast. Taste is full, sharp grainy by its malts. very balanced. nice, yet still a very traditionnal tasting beer.

Sampled at VCBF 2017. Thnx for sharing, Tim and Eugene ! Little weird that Eugene reccomended my rating as a read, since I’ve Always viewed him as a better rater than me... hah... Anyway ! Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is esthers (banana) mild malts. Very balanced beer that doesn’t taste bad in any direction. Yet, as a Belgian, I’ve already had way to many beers that taste like this in my own country, we don’t really get amped up about a foreign beer that tastes exactly like what it should be - A Belgian triple. We simply have more than enough triple beers as it is... curious to try some more experimental styles by Danko though !

Thank you kraddel & tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Orange golden, little white. Nose is odd bitter vegetable, grains. Taste is cereal, grain, mellow BE esters, citrus, mellow lightly bitter low vegetable. m/m body. Really wanted to like this one & Westmalle styled beer with Cascade sounds cool. I fear that my pallet is far too American. Kraddel has criticized my incapability of appreciating subtle classical beers so he is bound to give a proper rating here. In case anyone ever reads this, listen to Kraddel.

Thank you kraddel & tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Very pale citrus, little head. Nose is BE esters, green bitter & low cooked vegetables. Taste is easy cereal malts, sweet grain, low citrus, low vegetables. Body is cereal. Didn’t get the USA hops to be honnest. I really wanted to like this one but I fear that my pallet is too American to appreciate it. I don’t know any better. Kraddel has criticized my incapability of appreciating subtle classical beers so he is bound to give a proper rating here. In case anyone ever reads this, listen to Kraddel.
