Bottle. Cheers Trevor. 2020 on the front label. Back label says Batch 14 Bottled 02.03.2024. ABV is 7.4. Misted glowing orange gold. No head. Nose has loads of barrel. Sweet plump grape. Leathery funk. Smelly apple along the lines of Dabinett and all of that. Taste is semi sweet baked apple with funky dryness. Goes ultra easy throughout. Slick smelly apple oaky finish. Class.

Bottle. Color: Clear orangish golden, very thin white head. A lot of tiny bubbles going up in the glass. Aroma: Apple, Oloroso Sherry. Taste: Again a mix of overripe and lightly tart apples and sweetish and lightly boozy Oloroso Sherry, grapes. Subtle rural funk. Tannins, wood notes. Brut. Dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Great Cider.

Pours fairly clear, golden. Scent is funky - apples for sure and mostly, but in a way it reminds me of lambic almost ( wet wood ), maybe some brett (but this is'nt loud, if any) , Sherry is silent - hidden even. Taste is sharp, bone dry indeed. Mild acidity (wouldn't call this sour) medium high carbo. Would have enjoyed a touch more residual sweetness. Strong apple flavor, loud on the alcohol - only 6.5% but it tastes far more boozy. Oloroso is very hidden. I CAN trace some nuttyness, but I really have to search for it, and even than... A bit rough to me, but I'm also not a huge fan of these very dry ciders.
