375ml bottle. Minimally milky, orange, bright golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. BA supported, wheaty malty, mildly funky and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, peach mirabelle, grapes, a touch of Port, Sherry. Taste is tart, woody, slightly funky and yeasty fruity, minimally tangy and zesty citrusy hoppy, wheaty malty basis with very low residual sweetness, hints of grapes, old lemon peel, a very weak BA touch of Port, Sherry.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Fairly balanced, relatively mild, some subtleties - decent.

Sample, thanks AndySnow! Lightly hazy pale amber small head. Aroma of grass and grapes. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Plenty of grapes and passionfruit, some caramel. Mid bitter finish. Nowhere close to a pilsener, but a good NZ IPL.

On tap at Desarmadero, Christmas evening, English label called it "Double Red" 12oz-ish stemware, not full. Guessing. There's no indication on what it should be.
Lovely ruby amber, translucent pour, lingering skim of head.
Cooked grapefruit, sharp & sorta charred malt & extra black tea bags. Solid nose.
Earthy Simcoe, some russet-y malt, sharper tone, big tea bag tannins, white pepper, just a bit of caramel near the end. Crazy strong astringency, making me crave some good empanadas.
Tasty.

On tap at Desarmaderos, labeled in English as "The Killer".
210cc pour at Desarmadero for the second time.
Dark coffee pour with red highlights.
Sooty with some sharp barrel notes on the nose. Babysitting it isn't getting me anything else.
Sharp malt, burnt coco, sugary dark booze, malted cinnamon milk, wiskey edge.
Milky, low carb, elevated acidity, super strong.
Good, not great.

Another souvenir from Belgium. Spontaneously fermented but compact on the palate, with great balance of fruity, acidic, sweet and yeasty notes. Especially refreshing with 28° C in the living room...

16oz can in Madrid pours a clear gold, some sticky white head. Nose is dank, smells like weed or hemp maybe, green grass, Super herbal. Flavor is just as herbal with a huge lime kick. Green grass. But distractingly lime. Sweet finish with... lime. Meh.

12oz can I picked up in Madrid. My version is 10%. Clear gold with some sticky white head. Doesn't look like barleywine. Sticky with honey and malt. Booze here. Not a ton of hop. Its OK, it's just a booze bomb. Its not bad... it's just not good. Full bodied.
