On tap at Taproom Madrid - Guzman El Bueno, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Oh great, Argentina jumped on the chalky IPA bandwagon. Aroma is full of yeast soup, chalk galore and hop burn. Flavour is the worst kind of hazy — yeast soup, bitter citrus rinds, chalk, and hop burn. How can anyone like this? Just bad.

26/IV/22 - on tap @ Babilonia (Girona), BB: n/a (2022-430)
A little cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit oxidized, weird, doesn’t smell like a sour beer. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, thick viscous texture. Taste: quite some pineapple up front, coconut, a nice acidity, bit watery maybe. Aftertaste: sourish, a bit lemony, coconut, a bit floral, pineapple juice, slightly bitter finish.

6/2/2022. Can sample courtesy of Danish pint boys, cheers. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, oats, milk sugars, light liquorice. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Quite full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Nicely done, if a little sweet.

1/2/2022. Can sample courtesy of Danish pint boys, cheers. Pours thick deep purple black with minimal head. Aroma of roasted malt, cinnamon bun, dark chocolate, toffee, biscuit, slightest banana notes. Light sweetness, medium to heavy roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, soft carbonation. Enjoyable roasty impy.

(Can, 0.33 l, thanks VastActiv, at Arde 20220114) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vineousness and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, vineousness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, boozy and bitter. A decent burnt brew with sweet notes.
