Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing, light brown head. Surprisingly little aroma, some sweet molasses rather than roastiness. Rich, sweet licorice and molasses with a rather downplayed roastiness. Licorice rather than bitterness in the finish. Rich, smooth and pleasant, but perhaps a little underwhelming as an Imperial Stout. 070425

Bottl3 33 cl. Cloudy, opaque, deep brown with a small, rough, beige head - lazy pour. Intense wood and whisky aroma paired with toffee and caramel. Super rich and sweet body. Plenty of caramel, toffee and brown sugars with a warming whisky finish. Soft carbonation. Everything in sync - lovely! 070425

Medium body, clean, lightly sweet maltiness with a hint of biscuit before a hoppy but not very bitter finish. Lovely, but try tuning it a little drier and a little hoppier. 070425

Bottle from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours cloudy dark reddish brown with medium white head. Aroma is intense malt, caramel, toffee, overripe apples, sultana raisins, and faint hints of banana. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, and light acidic. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, caramel, toffee, nuts, raisins, apples, and hints of black tea.
