Can. A clear one, pale reddish golden in color, with some bubbles on top. The aroma is a bit sulphury, with fresh apple and apple jam underneath. Luckily the sulphur soon disappears. It's medium bodied and quite effervescent, in a pleasant way though. Not much acidity, but it's there in the background. Fruity sweetness too. Fresh apple, apple jam hints, some fruity sourness and a faint grassy hint. Medium length finish. A nice one, but a bit too one dimensional, and it suffers from the rather low ABV. 220119

Vi feirer at vi er trygt tilbake i Vågen etter Fridtjofens Hardangertokt! 0,75 flaske fra produsenten, champagnekork med smell. Klar, blek strågul med lett perlende munnfølelse. Floral aroma og smak med hint av anis/fenikkel i tillegg til de deilige eplene. Lett krydret ettersmak med urter og mynte. Crisp and elegant, fuck prosecco and cava - go for world class ciders from Hardanger!

Notater fra Fridtjofens Hardangertokt aug-20: 0,75 flaske fra produsenten, drukket ombord. Klar lys strågylden med perlende munnfølelse. Superfrisk aroma og smak av de lekreste Hardangerepler. Små spor av fermentering gjør den enda mer kompleks (modne epler + låve?). Lang ettersmak med stor friskhet og eminent balanse. Glem Prosecco og Cava - drikk sider fra Hardanger!

Bottle shared with Holmen1 and JFE on board Fridtjofen at Aa 13.08.20. Pale peach colour. No head. Excellent aroma and taste of sour cider apples, crisp cider and lychee. Long aftertaste. Very refreshing.

0,75 flaske fra produsenten, delt med skibsrederen og skogsmatrosen ombord på Fridtjofen ved kai i Lofthus: klar lys strågylden med mild musserende munnfølelse. Herlig duft og smak av de lekreste Hardangerepler sammen med et hint av kanel. Slank, elegant og stilig. Kald eller svakt avkjølt - like god!
