Bottle, 75cl corked. A clear, sparkling, golden colored cider with some white bubbles on top. The aroma is as expected apple driven, with both fresh apple juice and some apple jam, as well as a touch of fermenting apple juice. Some grass, pears and a touch of alcohol, as well as hints of butterscotch I hoped were just a brief whiff in the beginning but turned out to be hanging for quite some time. It's medium to full-bodied, with a light and pleasant warmth, nice carbonation and a light acidity. Quite balanced with sweetness though. Apple juice, alcohol, apple jam, canned pear, flower and grass hints, in the flavor, with a butterscotch or pie dough touch in the far back. Medium length finish. Not sure where the doughy butterscotch thing comes from, else it's a decent cider indeed. Guess it needs some kind of food to shine though. 221213

Bottle, 35 cl. It's a clear, very lightly sparkling straw colored cider. Headless. The aroma has grass, hay, apple cores, alcohol notes, pear hints, some cellar and a good dash of fresh apple and some fruity sourish thing. It's lightly warming on the palate, softly carbonated and quite dry, with apple dominating the flavor. Some grass, hay, alcohol and cellar, and a touch of toasted bread crums. More warming in the finish, which feels sort of astringent. Sure not a bad one, but it feels a bit out of balance. Might be the alcohol level that causes that feeling, not sure. 220907
