Half-pint from a hand-pull in the Railway Tavern, Newport, Shropshire on a very hot 12th July 2025. Clear body, no head. Apples it tastes of apples and alcohol.

Draught at Newcastle Beer and Cider Festival 2025. Hazed golden colour, bubbly white rim and aroma of sweet fruit, apple. Taste is sweet, appley, juicy fruits sugary, with alittle tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet fruity finish. OK.

Growler from LCB. Clear light gold, no head. Aroma has a drying apple peel, some sulphur, light freshy apple and blossom background. Taste is fairly sweet, tangy with a slight sugar-syrup note although apple flavour doesn't taste artificial. A semi-drying, slick mouthfeel, with subtle carbonation is very nice. Could do with a bit more flavour notes but its decent.

330ml panda from LCB. Clear gold, no head. Green apple aroma, fairly sweet, touch of skins. Taste is sweet apple juice, fruity, part fresh-part stewed in note, light tannins, some sour citrus bursts, very light carbonation. Slick medium body, easy drinking. Nice.

BIAB at Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Pours clear pale golden with a few opaque bubbles. Aroma: sweet apple, straw, light funk. Taste: moderate+ sweer, juicy apple, fruity, straw, funk, light tannins. Medium body with low carbonation. Really quite sweet but flavoursome too.

500ml plastic bottle from Low Cost Beer. Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of straw, apple, sulphur. Taste is apple, sweetish, tangy, with some malic acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish. Quite OK.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours still yellow gols with no head. Aromas are apple and little else. Taste is more of the same. A bit meh for me.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, straw, oil, funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, stone fruit hint, with straw, funk, and mellow soft tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium fruity finish. Quite drinkable

1/6/2023. From BIAB at the 36th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours clear very pale gold with a minimally bubbly white head. Aroma is apple, light funk, citrus, straw, hint of green olives. Medium sweetness, moderate tangy tartness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Quite fine.
