From a 440ml can on 25/4/2024. Pours a hazy deep golden with a smallish head. The nose is light with both tropical and herbal notes. Tastes medium sweet and tropical up front, followed by some lime and herbal notes with a quite firm, spicy bitterness. Interesting enough, but a bit unbalanced for mine.

deep golden color. Over ripe mangoes, stone fruit and citrus notes. Malt character isn’t too pronounced. Medium body, firm bitterness nice hop character, but again missing some character - and why need so many malts ? Anyways perfectly acceptable wcipa, rather pleasant but nothing amazing

I confess I never even noticed he had a cane until very recently - too distracted by the guy playing two saxes at once I suppose. Can. Just misted gold with a modest white head. Mellow soft bready aroma with gentle red grapefruit, honeydew & peach. But then turns out to be quite floral and peppery at the fairly bitter end. Neither as soft nor as sweet as suggested by the aroma. Fox Friday are certainly cranking out the IPAs - I can't keep up - but most of them are interesting and good.

Can. Misted gold with a modest white head that take a while to vanish. 3+ Pungent aroma of mostly tenor register citrus, tropical berries, damp pine. Full bodied but not heavy with nicely judged moderate carbonation. A balance of pine, tropical berries and more restrained citrus than suggested by the aroma before prudent finishing bitterness. Sophisticated.

Can. Almost clear golden amber with a brief white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, some pine, mango skin, light bread. Less of an expressive dry hopping approach than many - which is fine - with citrus and some resin sitting in with the malt flavours before gripping bitterness. Satisfying.

Can. Cloudy amber with a near cm of white head. Sharpish citrus aroma with some melon, crackers & under-ripe tropical fruit. Fairly light bodied but smooth textured with melon more prominent than in the aroma before the citrus comes along with fairly strong bitterness at the end. Good but it can't quite decide what it wants to be.
