From a 440ml can on 15/6/2023. Pours a deepest brown with little in the way of head. The nose features a bit of dark chocolate and a light roastiness. Tastes of medium sweet dark chocolate and caramel, with the habanero kicking in quite strongly in the middle, then fi ishing with a light raost bitterness. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Nicely balanced and recommended for those who like a touch of chili in their beer.

Can. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Crackery aroma with pepper and flowers. Some malty richness but almost no slickness before fairly firm floral bitterness. Classy if a tad reserved.

Can. Clear golden amber with a large white head that never quite disappears. 3+ Aroma of kumquat, grapefruit, pine, breadcrust, a little sticky rumble of tropical fruit. That nice balance is rather cruder in the taste with fairly plain sweetness and minor fruity notes soon swept away by resinous bitterness. But clean and tasty enough.

Can. Clear reddish amber with an inch of beige head that lasts pretyy well. Aroma of toffee, pine, some stewed fruit, vague citrus. Then a satisfying thump: hearty bread and toffee with richness bowled aside by firm bitterness. Cheery rather than nuanced and it works fine.

Can. Clear pale amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of lime, lychees, mandarin, crackers. Moderately sweet and a bit bland on the malt side of things with much less punch from the hops than suggested by the aroma. Modest bitterness.

Can. Very pale gold with a 2cm white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, a little gooseberry, grass, light bread. Fizzy. Sweetish with fruit and highish bitterness. Wouldn't have minded it a bit drier at the end but pretty good. A nice little earthy spicy note at the end.

Can. Gold with an inch of white head. 3+ Aroma of grilled grapefruit, light bread and breadcrust. Hints of pine and mango skin. A foot in both the austere and dank camps. Just enough caramel tinged bready richness to support the hops. More pine resin than guessed and the citrus is pushed quite a way into the background. Strong bitterness. Not mucking about.

Can. Gold with a white head. Some chunks - hard to avoid when you're pouring from a can. Gentle citrus aroma with lemon, grapefruit rind, crackery bread. Dryish with light bread before gradually sharpening citrus and a fairly bitter finish. Refreshing.

(Can) Pours opaque amber with good white head. Lovely aroma of pine with citrus notes. Great mouthfeel. Full bodied and smooth with silky fine carbonation. Taste is dominated in a very good way by hops from start to finish. There’s a pleasant bitter and and a lot juiciness. There’s some lactose and some hints of biscuit malt. Very enjoyable.
