Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. This one looks like the picture, xpt that the word "tart" is missing. Pours hazy with a white head. Aroma of ripe mango. Med body, approaching. Flavor is mango. Wheat shows up as the mango leaves. Arguably there's a tart note, but it's quite slight indeed. Goes to show that enough fruit can make a wheat ale somewhat tolerable. Getting to like mango.

Can: Lillies, lemongrass, slight mango nose. Hazy golden, thick head. Mango and lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation. Surprising balance and body for the style. Quaffable, hoppy. Very easily could be considered an APA.

got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 8/12/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep ruby red/brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, and dark fruit; with lighter notes of toffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready/light roast malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of toffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, milk chocolate, cocoa, herbal, grass, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roast malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is a very good English brown ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roast malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very rich well rounded English malt complexity; mild fruity yeast and earthy hop balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Can: Hay, lemongrass, and lime nose. Clear yellow, medium head, little retention. Cucumber, slight lemongrass. Light body, easy carbonation. Cucumber does not appear to be a good flavor for a lager.

OK, from a can. Sweeter candy aroma. Cloudy pale like heffer-sumthin. Fizzy somewhat pineapple flavored brew. What else can be said. At least its not offensive. Look, I don't like pineapple in brews but I guess the apricot mellows out that stupid ass piney.
