50 cl bottle @ Utsjoki, BBE 13.04.2024 Aroma has mildly buttery malt and hints of honey. Flavour has grainy malt, mild butter and hints of hay. Easy-going, perhaps a bit simple though.

Bottle from Lidl . Color: Clear dark golden, fine white head. Aroma: Malty, grainy. Taste: Malty, notes of grain, bread, light roasted toast. Light fruity hints. Moderate sweet, light hopbitter backbone. Quite dense mouthfeel for this style, just over medium body. Average carbonation. Nice one.

Foamy white head on well carbonated clear golden coloured body. Grain, malt, digestive biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a lively back. Sweet, syrup, berry, stone fruit & soapy tastes. Standard.

Bottle at home picked up from Lidl. A crystal clear deep golden coloured pour with a decent white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, bready cereal, spicy hop, leafy, Flavour is composed of crisp, light cereal grains, light mineral, some grassy hop, leafy grass. Palate is light and crisp, highish carbonation. Decent.

Bottle from the Aldi/Kalea Oktoberfest box. Brooklands branch. Aroma has bitter herbs and sweet sugariness. Clear light gold. Thin foamy translucent white head soon recedes. A combination of light citrus, doughy malts and and light herbs. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Nice enough... an elevated lager.. but nothing to get excited about.
