Bottle picked up from REWE Getränkemarkt Nandlstadt and consumed at home after a 90km cycle ride to Abensberg and back, Saturday 15th August 2020 listening to Fontaines D.C. - A Heroes Death about to cook Greek Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce with Feta. Pours hazy brown with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little brown sugar and lemon, light beery flavour, refreshing and that really was the main reason I cracked it open.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, pale malty and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma. Taste is minimally sweet, grainy and strawy, pale malty, a touch of honey and cereals, grassy, moderately bitter, minimally mineral, hoppy counterpart. Watery texture, minimally dry and tinny palate, slightly coarse and prickly carbonation. Decent Helles.

50cl bottle. A hazy orange brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet citrus lemonade and caramel. Taste of sweet caramel, citrus lemonade, sugar, no beer.

A darker more malty hefe, has all the top notch qualities of a classic german hef. Just a bit more color, but it only comes through subtly. Good beer. Simmel dresden
