Description
Living Häus Beer Co is a lager-forward brewery located in the Pacific Northwest city of Portland, OR and is co-owned by Conrad Andrus and Mat Sandoval. With a combined 20 years of professional brewing experience, we have become creators, engineers, scientists, artists, and critical thinkers while on our path to brew the best beers we can. We are proud to showcase our ability in our craft with the self awareness to know that we are always learning and growing.

WHAT DO WE MAKE?
We aim to make clean, intentional, and curious beers in our brewery. Explorative, yet refined versions of classic and upcoming styles such as Lager beer, IPA, Stouts, sessionable, restrained fruited beers, and everything in between will have a home on our menu. We strive to use unique and expressive hand selected malts and hops from the best growing regions in the world.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
We are different because our collective and unique experiences have driven us to the cutting edge of the beer industry. Through our exploration of styles and ingredients, we have developed our ability to make beers that are extreme but have more so learned to make beers that are balanced, nuanced, and delicious.

On tap at Living Haus. Pours clear brown with a beige head. Very nice brown bread nose, a bit toasty, some crusts. Flavour has a really nice english malt expression, like oatmeal brown bread, some cruchy toast, crusts, and some hops. This is a fantastic brown ale.

On tap at Living Haus. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Dry grassy hops and pale malt on the nose. Flavour has earthy, grassy hops and a crunchy cracker malt base. Fairly unexciting.

On tap at Living Haus. Pours a hazy dull yellow with a white head. Banana, cloves, and some dry grass on the nose. Flavour has fresh bananas, cloves, a touch of citrus. Seems like a clean hefeweizen, but I really can't get behind this style.

On tap at Living Haus. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-blonde with a white head. Loads of bright pine, melon, and white wine grapes on the nose. Flavour has tons of pine, sticky resins, and a tangy white wine grape character. Fantastic.

On tap at Living Haus. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Crisp, dry hops, cracker malts, and a light mineral character on the nose. Flavour has clean, mineraly cracker malts and crunchy. Very clean and drinkable, a solid kolsch.

On tap at Horse Brass. Pours clear golden blonde with a white head. Tons of dank, floral pine and resins on the nose. Flavour is jammed full of bitter, resinous pine, dank oils, some floral notes; super bitter and piney on the finish. Hops are super bitter and assertive. Excellent.
