Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick white head on top. Some lacing. The aroma is very fruity, with citrus, pine cones, resins, hay, straw and pale malts. Lightly spiced, yeasty notes too. It’s a bit effervescent, with a nice body fullness. It’s dry and nicely bittered, with mostly fruity flavors. Pine cones, resins and citrus zest and some pale malts flavor, where there’s peppery yeast in the back. Lasting quite dry finish with a good bitterness helping to clean up the palate. A really pleasant one, both tasteful and sort of quenching, even though it weighs in at 6.5% ABV. 160910

Pours amber, quite clear, not much foam. Aroma is fruity and malty, sort of sweetish. Tastes actually relatively rough, lots of bitterness there, not really balanced but nice and definitely not bad - albeit maybe a bit average.

A bit of plastic, some apples and orange. Bitter, but not enough malt backbone. Pretty simple pale ale, but ok.

Bottle. A dense, tan head forms lacings as the black liquid leaves the glass and hits the palate. There’s plenty of dark chocolate on the nose, roasted malts too, and both licorice and coffee chimes in. It’s full-bodied and smooth on the palate, very lightly warming, and neither dry nor really sweetish. Lots of roasted malts and dark chocolate flavor, some coffee in the back, and a wee hint of prunes and licorice. Everlasting dryish chocolate and roasted malts finish with some coffee notes in the back. Nice roasted malts kind of bitterness too. A really pleasant porter. Would perhaps like it a tad more complex, but it’s sure a fine brew as it is. 160824

Dark golden-amber colored, hazy, medium white head. Aroma is of malt, fruity estery, some floral, citrus and fruity notes, bit soury. Taste is medium sweet malt, some caramel, estery, some fruity hops with light citrus, medium bitterness, light harshness, bit bready yeast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. Must say I expected more... (bottle, Scout Club Irish Pub, Samobor)

Bottled 330ml. -from Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Unclear yellow coloured, medium sized white head, fruity yeasty nose. Sweetism malty, yeasty, citrusy hoppy, light banana and touch of spices with mild phenolic notes in the finish. Bitter finish as well. Pleasant brew but simply I can’t find myself in this style for better rate.

Bottled 330ml. -from Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy nose. Sweet malty, citrusy hoppy, slightly floral and juicy fruity with bitter hoppy finish. Slightly herbal also. Nice brew but nothing special here indeed.

Bottled 330ml. -from Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Deep black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, hops and alcohol with light coffee and light alcohol presence. Well done and enjoyable. Few bottles are going to cellar...looking forward to compare this one with Croatian edition.
