A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured almost black body with a small brown head. Chocolate and cocoa aroma, with sweeter cooked and dried fruits. Flavor was lightly bitter, roasted, with smooth coffee and cocoa popping out, then licorice, touch of wood, dried fruits and proper dark chocolate. Full body with a long creamy cocoa finish. No traces of alcohol, just contributed to the body. Exactly as I like it, as an Imperial porter. Not overly complex but extremely tasty. Top world class! I’ve heard only the best about these beers, but didn’t expect them to be THAT good. Many similar brews of the current big names in craft brewing would be shamed by this one.

A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured a hazy orange body with medium to small head. Citrus and some stale malt aroma mixed up with yeast. Flavor was bitter, herbal/paper and citrus hops with still strong biscuit, bread and fruity malt counterpart. Medium in body with long lasting finish of crisp bitterness, especially citrus (orange peel) and pines. Very nice!

A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured a hazy yellow body with a bigger head. Lemon aroma, some fruits and yeast, not particularly strong. As it warmed, a touch of tropical fruit hops emerged. Flavor was grass and pine bitter with very interesting black pepper note which survived long into the aftertaste. Citrus and more mellow hops intertwined with malty base of biscuit and fruits, apricot, banana. Inclining to a wit with a classic pale ale touch. Not very rich, but complex, only thin to medium bodied. Very long, pine and herbal bitter, dry finish. Light sweetness still rounded it up at the very end with aforementioned pepper. Classic saisons are generally not my thing, too thin, subtle and uninteresting, but I enjoy these very hoppy varieties. When the base is not bland and boring by itself, with some hops it might turn out perfect like this one. Awesome, possibly my best saison ever!

0.33 l bottle at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Murky orange, small off-white head. Yeasty, citrus, orange. Lacks malty character, dusty, light hoppy. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Abrupt finish, with just some hops left. Nothing special.

Bottle, 6.5%. Citric and clovey aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has clove and a distinct bitterness. Late citric notes, some yeast. Not very funky or citric, but nicely rustic, not to say unclean. Slightly high carbonation, suits the beer well.

Unclear, yellow colored, small white moderately lasting head. Aroma is of some malt, fruity, bit citrus, mostly phenolic spicy and yeast. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit citrus, quite fruity and even more phenolic peppery spiciness, medium+ bitterness, dry finish, bit alcoholic, quite yeasty, moderate lasting bitter spicy aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit oily. Strong bitterness and the touch of alcohol keep me from calling it refreshing. (bottle, Pivoteka Zagreb)
