Description
Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue.
The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin. Sure, why not?

Pours an clear orange-brown with a frothy off-white head and resinous pine and citrus hops on the nose, and a hint of toffee sweetness. Light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated, with orange and toffee flavours combining with piney hops to yield soft, dry bitterness and an underlying malt sweetness

330ml can from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a crisp, light, juicy orange citrus, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A little light all round, but enough flavour to make it refreshing.

330ml can from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Gushed a slightly hazy golden colour with a big fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is gluey toffee malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, light sweet biscuit malt, yeasty, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with heavy carbonation. I was disappointed to lose so much beer when the can “exploded” on opening, but the remaining beer was tasty.
