Description
Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue.
The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin. Sure, why not?

330ml can at Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, orange and grapefruit. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, light tart citrus, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml can via Beer52: BBE Aug 2021. Drank at home in glorious sunshine on 3rd Apr 2021. Hazy golden orange body, white topping. The nose is orangey with other tropical fruits trying to get involved, taste similar, bit highly carbonated but it's fun in the sun.

440ml can from Beer52 (watered down 4.8% ABV version): BBE Nov 2021. Poured into an old Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 28th Mar 2021. Dark bodied, wispy beige head. Harsh feel to the malty brew, chocolate and vanilla esters/flavours, but lacking depth and smoothness in it's make-up. Didn't find the lactose or coconut as advertised. Maybe the original 5.6% version was better (no mention of the Proper Chocolate Company, Dublin on my can either), this isn't a creamy stout bursting with anything!
