31 December 2020. Super Secret New Year's Eve Tasting. Cheers, Anke, Silke & Nima! Clear orange, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of butter (diacetyl), old orange, stale mango, cream, breadcrust. Taste has sweetish orange, mango in a yeasty-bready body, bitter citrus peel & some zest. Dry, yeasty, low floral hoppy finish, falls a bit flat. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Not really fresh or juicy, back to the drawboard with this one!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear amber body with a beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of steel and caramel. Flavour of earth and weak tea. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit too sharp for me to love it.

Can from Great Grog. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange peel and lemon. Flavour of grain and a light citrus edge. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Whatever yuzu and lychee is there is very subtle. I didn’t get any.

Black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate caramel malt. Flavour is salty caramel, bitter dark chocolate, sweet caramel finish.

Clean gold with a medium head. Aroma of fruit bread. Flavour is a bit of tea, soft fruits, grain husks in a dry fruit tea finish.

Can from beerclub. Deep cloudy orange with a creamy head. Aroma of grainy tropical fruit. Flavour is fizzy orange, grainy pith, lots of fruit on a juicy grain finish.
