Description
Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue.
The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin. Sure, why not?

Bottle from O’Briens. Black with a red hue, tan head. Aroma is dominated by coffee. Flavour is ground coffee, light hints of whisky, a bit warm, but mostly coffee. Nice, but not quite matching the label.

Clear blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are very zesty. Lime citrus. Clean and fresh tasting.

Hop, lactose, zoet. Echt zo’n kleuter-ipa. Niet vies, maar het mag wat minder rubberen tegel en wat meer bitter.

500ml bottle at home. Pours black with a slight bit of ruby red coming through the bottom of the glass. Thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Buttery oak from the barrel aging in the aroma, milk chocolate, slight bit of coffee but nearly as much as I was expecting. Mouthfeel is quite thin which affects the flavour somewhat, this isn’t really the flavour bomb I was hoping for. Butter whiskey but not boozy, meek milky coffee, teeny tiny bit of milk chocolate. Quick finish

Hazy blond with foaming head. Aroma has plenty of pineapple. Flavour has light tropical fruit but is also a bit on the soapy side.

Can @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste hops, sweetness and something odd. Is that whatever makes it pina colada? Oh well. Not bad, I quite like it.

Can @ benzai. Hazy pale yellow with a small to medium sized white head. Smells coconut, sunscreen, weird. Tastes fruity, some hops, sweet-ish. I'm not getting a coconut taste which is good. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.
