Description
Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue.
The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin. Sure, why not?

Tap. Hazy, but not completely opaque amber-brown color with creamy beige head. Aroma is berries, caramel, toffee, a bit earthy hops as well. Taste is resinous, big toffee, chocolate, rather sweet. Foamy mouthfeel with high carbonation, a bit dusty. Decent, but a bit overcarbed.

Can. Hazy pinkish orange beer, small pale peach colour head. Smooth semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts with well integrated vanilla. Sweet and sharp raspberry candy. Little orangey hop and.fruit punch. Very slight bitterness on the finish. Good fun.

Hazy pink appearance with thin head. Aroma has raspberry and vanilla. Flavour is similar. Light hop bitterness but overall too sweet.

Hazy pale blond colour with lasting head. Interesting beer with elements of an IPA and a Wit but also funky hay and wild yeast. Bretty and skunky. It's not clear if this is intentional but luckily I like it.

Hazy golden colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of fresh hops. Mostly tropical fruits. Low to medium bitterness. Really easy to drink.

330ml can at home. Pours an enticing hazy yellow orange with a decent white head. Well balanced wheat and ipa aromas, tropical fruit and spice. Full creamy mouthfeel, tastes of tropical fruit, banana, bubblegum, some caramel. Lovely bitter finish.

Canned, from Hopt. Cloudy golden, rich head. Aroma of overripe mango, watermelon and funky pine. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Syrupy with overripe mango, pine needles and brett. Metallic bitterish finish. Edgy with too much funky, metallic tropical fruit juice concentrate.

Can at Siris About Beerstyles tasting session 'IPA V2". Pours dark, unclear reddish brown. Small to no white head. Smell is caramelly, mild toast, tad hoppy ( spice style hops ) Taste is big on caramel, relatively low bitterness, yet it does build up a bit, but it mostly outdone by the caramel. hoparoma is there, tad floral, tad spicy. Medium body, medium carbo. Not bad.

Bottle @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark brown with a small head. It has very smooth roasted malts with a sweet milkiness that makes its milkshake name very apt. It's aroma is sweet roasted and alcohol is evident in its taste.
