Canned, from Hopt. Cloudy golden, rich head. Aroma of overripe mango, watermelon and funky pine. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Syrupy with overripe mango, pine needles and brett. Metallic bitterish finish. Edgy with too much funky, metallic tropical fruit juice concentrate.

Can at Siris About Beerstyles tasting session 'IPA V2". Pours dark, unclear reddish brown. Small to no white head. Smell is caramelly, mild toast, tad hoppy ( spice style hops ) Taste is big on caramel, relatively low bitterness, yet it does build up a bit, but it mostly outdone by the caramel. hoparoma is there, tad floral, tad spicy. Medium body, medium carbo. Not bad.

Bottle @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark brown with a small head. It has very smooth roasted malts with a sweet milkiness that makes its milkshake name very apt. It's aroma is sweet roasted and alcohol is evident in its taste.

Can from O'Brien's, Athlone [010418]
A3, N8, T7, P3, O13
Golden, light haze, bubbly head, not milky like a NEIPA
Aroma - Sweet citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, mango, dab of apricot, nose better than taste
Taste - Citrus fruits, tropical fruits, grapefruit, orange, soft bitter zest, light sweet pale malts, easy drinking for abv but somewhat lacklustre (more 6.5)
Palate - Soft carb, medium body but a bit thin, fairly sweet, alcohol well hidden. Finish is sweet with soft bitter zest
Overall - Aroma is very good, but the flavour needs more oomph.

Can from O'Brien's, Athlone [300318]
A3, N7, T7, P3, O14 3.4
Black, thin tan head
Aroma - Oddly got banana initially, dark malts, getting the vanilla
Taste of dark malts, getting light whisky flavour, bit of chocolate, light vanilla, as it warms up more whisky barrel
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, fairly sweet, quite smooth. Finish as main flavour, soft sweet dark malts
Overall - Unusual beer, I would prefer it without the whisky - I don't think it ever contributes any good...sherry is better
