On tap at Rockpit during a session of country bingo. Very dark brown & black pour, spider lace. Fruity, slightly offal (unintentional)funk & caramel. Taste is bittersweet, veggie, mild grapefruit pith, less than there should be. Semi-sweet malt, a touch of smoke & char on the finish. Dirty lines or something else is off. Weak brew anyway.

Last one at the source. Matte black, cookie head. Malty, oily, plum, fortified nose. Very sharp, sticky, smokey malt. Slightly bittersweet pith once it curves, but shit, it's honey rich. Carb is okay, not terribly boozy, a little harsh. Okay.

Closing time at this joint. Pour is a heavy dark brown with a touch of russet. Lingering thin layer of cookie dough froth. Sharp black tea, extra sugar, medium acid, light varnish, heavy caramel nose. Very crystal. Sweet tea, bitter cooked eggplant, a little ash & oxidation. Kinda good.

Clear, medium honey amber, mostly still pour. Thin apple syrup & heavy clove on the nose. Apple sweetness upfront, plastic & fennel, mild clove training over a middling cereal sweetness. Thinner than expected body, not even boozy, just a bit of syrup. Kinda okay.

Clear, bright, honey gold, thin laced half pour @Gatlin. Sloppy malt liquor nose. Wack. Sweet possibly too sweet. Honey, mellow apple, very little bite. More like a sloppy blonde. This is terrible.

10oz pour at the source. Tulip. Clear, pale gold, weak lace. Yeasty & incredibly fruity nose. Thin, orange & lemon, American wheat, bright hops, week but noticeable funk, stinging lemon oil. Not a Saison but not bad.

Second beer on tap. Our lovely manager wholeheartly endorses this one. Clear, orange copper, frothy, extra wide low-ball glass at the source. Noticable cheese funk on the nose. Chex mix & lemon cover it up a little. Taste is lovely obvious rye with extra lemony, lemonhead-like hops. Stronger cheese, why? I'll Google the hops later. Faint pith & unsweetened tea on the tail finish make it extra tasty. Finish is somewhat dry, frothy, lightweight, just out of reach as a session beer. A little off but good.

First pour @Gatlin. Clear, copper, off-white foam. Proper stange pour. Smokey spiced lamb sausage, cereal nose. Sticky bittersweet upfront, dry breakfast cereal, cream, oak. Barely any smoke outside the nose. Nicely frothy, a little acid, faintly boozy. Good+.
