Bottle, thx to larsga and joet. An almost clear one, dark amber to brown in color and with a dense finger-thick light beige head. The aroma has a touch of diacetyl, with toffee, prunes, dried figs, nuts and an earthy touch. Nutty, caramel flavor with a hint of diacetyl. Some dark rye bread hints, not much sweetness, and none or next to no bitterness. Croquant, dried figs, yeast notes and a faint chocolate touch too. Very smooth on the palate, velvety, medium bodied and quite low on carbonation. Caramel, nuts, dried figs and some earthy yeastyness in the end. A very complex beer, not a favorite of mine, but interesting and quite tasteful. 140503

Medium beige head. Slightly hazy deep dark red body. Roasty earthy dusty aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweet earthy mealy taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy chocolatey aftertaste with nutty fruity notes. Low on flavour, and more of a kaimiskas than a porter, really. (0.5l draft at Snekutis Old Town, Vilnius.)

Golden colour. Fully malty, slightly caramellish aroma. Slighlty cidery, with notes of malt, caramel and alcohol. Smooth, brown sugary finish.

Sampled draught at Šnekutis beer bar, Pasvalys.
Golden colour. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Medium sweet with rounded, soft mouthfeel. Fairly hoppy with salty, bitter finish. Now, where did the 9.3% go???
