(Kiev 2016) Most of a 1000 ml. swing-top bottle at Klaipeda. BBF 30.09.2016. Pours dark brown bread, quite hazy with a tanned creamy head. Nose is thick bread, massively milky rye bread, low fermenting milk sour bread in a pleasant fashion & some black bread. Taste is pleasantly faintly sour with low sour milky bread, low kvass notes, bread, touch neutral overall actually, easy to drink, low moldy leaves in the finish do spoil it a bit as do some minor spoiled yoghurt notes, faint butter, low mold in the back, touch too neutral on top oddly, dark bread. Creamy bready kvass body. Some minor points overall an interesting an unusual brew, neat.

(Kiev 2016) 750 ml. bottle split by 2 at Klaipeda. Murky brown amber with little off-white head. Nose is sweet compote, dates, dreid fruits, raisin, touch rain water, kvass, bread, caramel, sugar. Taste is wort, sweet dates, raisin, heavy bread, kvass, sugar, rotting wed fruits, dates, low ditch water, leaves, caramel, sugar. Low carbonation, touch watery in the back. If you like non-industrial kvass, dates & dark bread you will love thing, I can see this not appealing to most flavor preferences here, there is definitely a crowd for this, I find it it lovely, the crowd is not the RB one, shame about the leaves, mold & ditch water bitch in the finish, without that, I would have definitely ranked this one higher, definitely enjoyed this one.
