16 oz. can from Binny's. Seems like a good day to try it. Their previous BiB was made with blueberry and was more of a stout, but still at 7.1% abv. This one has a little more porter brown to it, pours with a short tan layer of foam. The nose is mainly mocha. Can't manage to find the berries yet, except for a general sweetness. Taste has some Tootsie Roll fudge to it. Then some hop notes, more than one might normally find in this style. Blackberry is found mainly on the sticky part on my lips.

16oz can. Perhaps a Weizen, but not really that thick or yeasty for a Hefeweizen. The concept is decent enough but the execution is rather lackluster, as neither the hefe side or the strawberry side come through so well. Overall drinkable enough. OK.

16oz can. Floaties in an amber-brown body. Thin, loud, fast-fading head. Kind of decent chocolate touched malt tone, but doesn't really come together that well in terms of body, balance, general mouthfeel. More drinkable than most of their other trash beers, but still losing points from me for the racial pandering.

16 oz. can from Orange & Brew. I keep finding some good looking Funkytown cans here, but they all are dated 9 to 10 months before. So my impressions come with a grain of salt. But I get a nice zesty citrus nose under the pull tab. Pours a foamy head that dwindles to show a hazy golden witbier. Luckily, no off tastes from sitting on a shelf. Instead some Mandarin orange and a light coriander spice. One of F-town's light mild beers in different styles, intended to bring in new drinkers. Worth checking out.

16oz can - grabbed at random. Quite nice - cool spices, easy drinker - first from this brewery - solid!

Draught @ Pilot Project, Chicago (Sept 2023). Cloudy reddish amber with a large foamy beige head, faint vanilla aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter malt forward taste with faint vanilla flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Well balanced brew.

16oz can. Another fully cringe inducing name/concept from Funkytown. Keep that feel good racist stereotype shit for the internet or elections. Not such a bad beer. What I imagine is rye malt fleshes it out some. Low ABV keeps it pretty drinkable. OK beer overall, a little streamlined, bland.

16oz can. Decent enough APA, the orange peel isn't as odd as I would have guessed, but doesn't help the aroma, giving it some candy hairspray tones. Drinkable, but wholly unimpressive. Cringe-inducing name too.

16 oz. can from Orange & Brew. Light toasty malt smell with a bit of sweetness. Thick tan head under a deep brown/black beer body. Taste does have a bit of sweet cocoa. Decent hop bitterness and some stone fruit, as opposed to roastiness. Some yeast is detected. Kind of like a note of Guinness, but with full carbonation instead of nitro.

Aromas are yeast and strawberry. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose pretty much those of a standard hefeweizen with strawberry. Don't really pick up much extra banana. Balanced sweet, bitter and carbonation. Not bad not great.
