8/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a one and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head, dissipated nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: dark malty sweetness and roastiness, subtle roasted coffee tones, baker's chocolate, light toast and a touch of earthy hops
Flavor: semi-sweet through the prior mentioned aromas; mild aftertaste of dark breadiness and earthy hops
Texture: medium bodied, great sessionability, good smoothness on tongue; crisp, dark malty and lingering earthiness in the finish
Overall: I say a nice dark lager I'd seek again.

7.6/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7.5 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 8
Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: semi-dark red color with a two finger khaki foamy head which slid off lightly to leave some messy lace
Aroma: semi-sweet grains, subtle toasted nuts, caramel malts, biscuity and bready notes, touch of earthy hops
Flavor: mildly sweet, grains show some presence but not too much, earthy hops balance in for some bitterness; quick aftertaste of toasted nuts, caramel, and breadiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along my tongue, finishes crisp, malty and nutty
Overall: pretty nice amber lager or Polotmave as I'm coming to learn more of. I'd have again.

7.9/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 7.5 Texture 8 Overall 8
Can to becher pint.
Appearance: pale yellow biscuity color; two finger white foamy head took it's time to slide off then leave some light lace
Aroma: mild sweet earthy to grassy hops, some crackery malts
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas semi-sweetly and then has a fine aftertaste of bready/crackery malts and grassy hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, nice and smooth along my tongue; finishes crisp, smooth and semj-sweet
Overall: nicely done pale lager worthy of more pours and would be a good one next to my grill this Summer.

Taster at Old Town Pub in Bordentown. A Brewver Top 50 for the style! Bright, yellow gold pour. Creamy white cap is scant. Aroma of pale malt and herbal hops. Flavor is light and smooth. Biscuity malt, herbal hops and light citrus notes. Incredibly soft and drinkable. Some peppery notes in finish.

Canned 11/5/25, drunk 8/10/25.
VERY carbonated. Pale, lemon-brass. Massive, white head, well-retained.
Actually can smell the pale lager here. Not dominated by the lemonade at all, and only a component of the aroma. Like pale lager with lemon zest. Clean and pretty snappy. Maybe a dusting of sugar from the lemonade.
Sweeter in the flavor, though, with a big honey-and-table-sugar character immediately that dries out slightly with some biscuity malt and lemon acidity. This might be the best thing I've had from Sacred Profane, and it's half lemonade....

16 oz can traded by Clarkvv. Disclaimer: I’m not a fan of smoked malt in anything. In the aroma it is ash and smoke. Luckily, in the flavor, the smoke is not obnoxious. Flavor of smoked meat, Ash, and smoky wood. I wish there was more malt. That’s here, but it is a lower ABV. Quite honestly, I really hate the style, so don’t even read my review.

Canned 4/21/25, drunk 7/2/25.
Certainly looks the part - full, well-retained, tan head and a dark, clear body.
As with the pale, the smoke is lovely. Ashy campfire, very woody and nicely dry. Tons of pepper and iodine-like character. Malts a bit timid, but there is some me chocolate, roast and toast.
My biggest qualm with the base dark lager was it's overabundance of dark malt. Here the smoke muddles the picture. Doesn't seem TOO big on the specialty malt, but then, doesn't seem too big on the base malt either. It is only 4%, so I don't expect the world, but maybe a bit more oomph from the texture would be nice. Carbonation is rather loose and vapid, as well. The smoke, like the pale, is wonderful.
