Bottle from AE, 2/1/22. 4th (and last) version of the 1st Anniversary Stout, no bottled date, but it was released 12/31/21. Pours a nice darker brown color with a smaller tan / medium brown head. Chocolate, whiskey, roast, and banana. Smooth, fairly rich drinker. Appropriate level of heat. Well rounded mouthfeel. The adjuncts seem to add a nice addition to the malt / barrel flavors without being completely over-the-top. Tasty, well made stuff.

16 oz can from AE, 1/14/22. Hazy yellowish-orange, white head, strong, streaky lace. Strong grapefruit, melon, and pineapple. Mango / papaya sweetness. Tons of flavor, juicy, nice bitterness. Bright. Flavorful. Really good one. It's been a while since I had Sloane 1, but I think we are in the same area of quality here.

Draft at AE, 1/14/22. Murky orange color, off white head, drippy lace. Melon and citrus. Pithy, slightly juicy. Pretty good.

500 ml bottle from AE, 1/3/22. My 1st tick off 2022. Dark brown pour, smaller head. Nice nutty, roasty flavor. Chocolate and whiskey. Wood. Smooth and flavorful. Really nice. Seemed much more rounded then the previous whiskey version.

16 oz can from AE, 12/31/21. Nice dark brown color with a smaller head. The oatmeal cookie thing is pretty apropos here, for the aroma, which has kind of a bourbon, wood, oatmeal cookie thing going on. I like the mix, not too boozy, not too sweet. Lots of flavor. I think I like this more that I did the two component beers apart. Well done.

16 oz can from AE, 12/24/21. Fully hazed dark yellowish color, white head, strong lacework. Big and juicy, with a ton of tropical and citrus hop flavor. Mango, orange, grapefruit, papaya, and some melon. Drinks smooth, hides the ABV too well. Really nice juicy hop IPA.

Haven’t had this style in a few years. Really nice smoky flavor. Love it. “You make me want to smoke!” - Mel Gibson (who is featured on the can).

Very citrus, fruity, and a tad bitter really good. Thanks Brendan and Bill.

16 oz can from AE, 12/19/21. Canned 11/22/21. Some sort of collaboration with an NFT I think, but I'm lost beyond that. I'm sure I'm missing out. Murky golden-orange, white head, moderate lace. Herbal and grassy. Bit of earth. Pretty good.
