375 ml bottle purchased to go at the Sandhills Brewery in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a clear paler golden with a small white head that falls quickly. The aroma is tart citrus, a bit of funk, soft sour and earthy character of the Chanterelle. The taste is bright citrus funk, soft Brett character and Chanterelle earthy mushroom in back. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and funk Brett to the dry leathery finish. Interesting and well executed.

16 oz can purchased to go at the Sandhills Brewery in Mission, Kansas. The pour is mostly clear black with a twinge of purple and a foamy ½ inch tan head. The aroma is blackberry fruit, roast and a dry char. The taste is roast soft char right up front, mineral, some of the blackberry fruit and returns to additional roast malt. As the beer warms, more of the blackberry flavor comes out. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and soft blackberry fruit, roast and mineral in the dry finish. Solid, easy drinking beer.

16 oz can purchased to go at the Sandhills Brewery in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a 1/4 inch foamy white head. The aroma is softly sour, citrus and some grass. The taste is a soft natural sour, funky, tart citrus, citrus orange fruit, grass and some fresh oak wood to the back. The palate is medium to light bodied with low carbonation and the funk sour carrying the finish. As it warms, the Foeder funk really takes over.

The aroma is slight metallic, caramel malt sweet, and general malt sweetness. The taste is strong malt, caramel, nuttiness, a touch of floral, more caramel and slight alcohol to the back. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, low carbonation and the caramel sweet and boozy finish. Bit of salt appears as it warms in the back. Solid.

10 oz draft at the Sandhills Brewing in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden copper with a minimal off white head that leaves behind a splotchy head. The aroma is big hop, very fresh citrus floral along with a touch of pine and grass. The taste is big floral, melon, citrus, softly sweet caramel malt, that turns to grain and grass bitter mineral clean finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the pleasantly bitter and mineral finish. Nice one.

The taste is chewy, unfiltered grain, hay, the herbal, a bit of citrus and finishes with noble hop soft bitterness. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation, the unfiltered mouth feel and a dry mineral herbal finish.

The aroma is tart sour citrus, and the prickly pear fruit. The taste is initially quite tart with the citrus sour, the bright fruit and then soft salt and wheat grain. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and clean tart finish.

Willebecher glass draft at Sandhills Brewing in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is honey, floral, and spiced Noble hops. Taste is a clean traditional Bohemian Pils with the honey malt, floral and spiced hop notes with a nice mineral to the dry finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the great clean crisp mineral finish. Solid, easy drinking beer.

12 oz can purchased as part of a holiday mix 6 pack at Sandhills Brewing in Mission, Kanas. The pour is an opaque black brown and a small khaki head. The aroma is char roast, smoke, and some grass. The taste is cane sugar, toffee, the char roast, hint of the vanilla and campfire smoke in the finish. As it warms, the vanilla and cane sugar become more evident, and syrup sort of flavor. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, soft carbonation and the roast and smoke to the finish. Fun take on Raven, well executed.

12 oz can purchased as part of a holiday mix 6 pack at Sandhills Brewing in Mission, Kanas. The pour is a hazed apricot orange golden with a fluffy white head that is small but lasting. The aroma is plum skin and soft fruit sweet, a bit of raisin and some lactic tartness. The taste is tart, softly lactic sour, then moving towards the plum fruit adding more tart and round sweetness to the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft natural carbonation and the tart plum fruit finish. Plum added a nice complexity to the base beer, well done.
