Having fun making beer for all.

We started out life as a cuckoo brewery at the end of 2020 and throughout 2021.

We’ve now set up our own small batch independent brewery in Tollcross, Glasgow and continue to develop our core range alongside our one-off special seasonal range.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy orange to brown with a cream-coloured head. Aromas of toffee, orange and roast. Taste is more of the same. Dry finish.

Appearance - orange to brown and cloudy, creamy off-white head.
Nose - dried orange and toffee with a hint of roast.
Taste - orange, toffee and some roasty bitterness.
Palate - close to medium bodied, roasty dry finish.
Overall - good example of the style.

Can from Great Grog. Black body with a tan head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, Marmite and nuts. Flavour of roasted malt and umami. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A bold and rich stout. Really good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - golden and murky with gentle carbonation and a neat white head.
Nose - orange, peach and more generally floral.
Taste - orange, citrus zest and more of the floral. Some bread underneath.
Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy and zesty finish.
Overall - good, a bit different.

Bottle from Lupe Pintos. Hazy deep golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, grass and cranberry. Flavour of red berries and marzipan. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A raw and unusual beer. I thought it was fine overall.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy pale golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemon, straw and cucumber. Flavour of lemon, mint and minerals. Thin body with a frothy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. This was fine but a little too sharp for me to love it.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy brown body with a thick beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisins, clove and toffee. Flavour of caramel and rust. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A tasty, Christmassy beer.

440ml can from Leith Bottle Shop - Deep hazy broon body, rocky off white top. Nose of ginger and cinnamon, warming spicy ginger cake taste, slightly drying maltiness. Very nice and Christmassy.
