Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky light brown to orange. Nicely proportioned, snow white head. Nose - very herbaceous, plant stalks and grassy. Taste - more plant stalks, getting into an edge of seaweed. Bitter lemon on the end. Palate - light bodied with a long, dry finish. Overall - I like this. Very refreshing and interesting with its alternative flavours to hops

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours cloudy golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy lasting white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy white bread, sponge cake, biscuit, cereal, melon, pear and apple crumble. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, bitterness which lingers throughout, grain, cereal, hay, biscuity malt, peppery spice, grass, floral accents and some bread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite like what's going on here. An above average golden ale with some interesting nuances.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours lightly hazy deep amber almost approaching brown with a small white head. The aroma is green, weedy, sappy, oily, resinous, toffee, tangy orange marmalade, kumquat and grapefruit. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, sappy, oily, resinous, pine, spruce, grassy, floral accents, touch of bitter toffee, nip of spice and some pithy citrus with a touch of alcohol in the background. Finish is bitter - sweet. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Nice old school west coaster vibes.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours orangey - amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is piney, fragrant, floral, touch of spice, biscuit, cake and a hint of citrus peel. The taste crispy, dry, snappy, firm, peppery spice, floral, peppery spice, touch of waxy citrus peel and some biscuit malt in the base with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Interesting stuff. Not quite sure this hop combo is the best though.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a big creamy white head. Nose - lemon and floral with a light hint of caramel caramel. Taste - caramel and bread with just a touch of lemon zest. Palate - light bodied, sweetish middle and relatively dry on the finish. Overall - decent but I expected it to be drier.
