Description
Nestled on the banks of the River Ness, Uile-bheist (Scottish Gaelic for ‘monster’ pronounced Ewl-uh-Vesht). Represents our founder’s lifelong ambition of producing the best artisan whisky and beer in the heart of Inverness, Scotland. Being the first Distillery to grace Inverness in over a century, the Uile-bheist dream was built on the desire to blend traditional techniques with innovative methods.

Can thanks to Ashton McCobb. New brewery tick. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of shandy bass. Taste is light lemon and cereal. Thin finish.

Appearance - mat black and opaque, creamy beige head.
Nose - chocolate breakfast cereal. Oats and lactose.
Taste - creamy chocolate and chocolate cereal.
Palate - medium bodied and creamy texture. Sweet with gentle roast on the finish.
Overall - yes, enjoyable.

Nose - apricot, melon, mango and orange.
Taste - tinned fruit cocktail with orange zest at the end.
Palate - creamy texture, approaching medium bodied. Zesty finish.

Nose - bread and light citrus.
Taste - orange and bread, light hop spice.
Palate - light bodied snd a dry finish.
Overall - supposed to be like a dry hopped helles, according to knowledgeable barman. Quite nice.

Appearance - deep autumnal red, thin neige head.
Nose - toffee, cake and general breadiness. An edge of leather
Taste - chewy treacle sponge and fudge. But drier, like brown bread toasted.
Palate - medium bodied, chunky and chewy middle. Dey roasty finish.
Overall - another challenging beer, but worth hanging in there.
