Tap @ Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. Soft.

Appearance - cloudy yellow with a snow white head.
Nose - gooseberry, melon, white grape and orange zest.
Taste - grassy up front, more white grape, some kiwi and gooseberry.
Palate - light bodied, bitter middle and finish.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - pitch black with a foamy tan to fawn head it falls back a bit to look like cola.
Nose - dark chocolate, smoke wood and booze.
Taste - raisins, prunes, chocolate, hazelnuts and booze. Smoked wood at the back.
Palate - full bodied and rich, woody and smokey.
Overall - lovely stuff.

Third of a pint in the Boot (keg) on 9th July 2026.. Hazy dull grey/milky look, white topping. Tropical fruit nose and taste, leaning towards grapefruit rather than any sweetness.
