Can thanks to my bro. It pours jet black with a dark tan - brown head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, rich spice, warming red chillies, fiery ginger, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, vanilla sugar, burnt toast, pie crust, rocky road, jammy fruits, fortified wine and a touch of honeyed whisky. The taste is firmly dry, dark roasted malt, chatted oak, whisky soaked oak, jammy fruits, sherried whisky, umami, liquorice allsorts, layers of spice, Jamaican gingercake, warming red chilli, rocky road, Scottish tablet and vanilla fudge. Full body and average carbonation. Unique and quaffable.

Can from Eskbank Trading. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of coriander, melon rind and lemon. Flavour of straw, orange, yeast and bitter hops. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This is great. It’s bright and refreshing with interesting notes of a Belgian blond.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of floral hops and lemongrass. Flavour of lemon, ginger and white grape skin. Thin to medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. Sour and subtle. Very refreshing.

Nose - floral, candied lemon, sweet spice and icing sugar.
Taste - more lemon, icing and sweet spice.
Palate - close to medium bodied, zesty finish and good linger.
Overall - lovely stuff, glad this was loaded as a Balgian, yeasty dominant.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 19th June 2026. Deep ruby black with tan foam quickly reducing to zero. Coffee and dark chocolate in aroma. Coffees, leafy hop notes and dark chocolates in-mouth, and a roasty finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
