Cans from House Of Trembling Madness and Great Grog. Milky golden/bronze body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma of orange, dried grass and spring onion. Flavour of apricot, melon and green banana. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Fresh and fruity.

Appearance - oily pour, deep coffee and crema appearance.
Nose - dark chocolate, raisin and boozy wood.
Taste - dark chocolate, woody, coffee, raisin, fudge, Mississippi Mud Pie and booze.
Palate - full bodied, boozy, creamy and rich.

Appearance - mat opaque black with a thin crema head.
Nose - more mocca than coffee specifically. Some dried fruit, maybe a hint of roast.
Taste - prunes and dark chocolate with booze.
Palate - full bodied, smooth textured middle and finish with a nice linger.
Overall - good stuff!

Appearance - opaque black and beige and crema head.
Nose - dark chocolate, prunes, some booze and loads of wood.
Taste - prunes, raisins, chocolate, woody and light booze.
Palate - full bodied, creamy and sweet middle, lightly woody finish.
Overall - lovely stuff, quite serious.

Appearance - olive brown sheen with a beige, fluffy head.
Nose - boozy prune and wood.
Taste - more prunes (in Armagnac?) with brown sugar and wood again.
Palate - full bodied, sweet and rich middle but somehow not too sweet on the finish, possibly the wood drying it out nicely.
Overall - lovely gear!

Can from Lupe Pintos. Milky golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemongrass and toasted coconut. Flavour of coconut and dried mango. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Bright and heavily hopped. Punches above its 4.0% ABV.

Appearance - solid murky yellow with a foamy white head.
Nose - zesty lime (yuzu perhaps) and peach. General sorbet feel.
Taste - lime and yuzu, creamy banana at the back.
Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle, zesty dry finish.
Overall - good!

Appearance - murky and solid yellow with a creamy, nicely proportioned head.
Nose - peach and mandarin in syrup with red apple.
Taste - orange, apricot and melon with orange zest at the back.
Palate - creamy in texture, medium bodied and a zesty finish.
Overall - lovely stuff!

Appearance - hazy yellow with a big foamy white head.
Nose - dank with pine and lemon lozenges.
Taste - earthy and bready, caramel, toffee and then bitter pine and lemon.
Palate - light to medium bodied, dry and bitter finish.
Overall - good example of the style.

Cans from Against The Grain and Lupe Pintos. Black body with a dense beige head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of treacle and ash. Flavour of chillies, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The chillies are really well judged in this - they add to the beer without taking over.
