Cask at EBF 23, 24/03/16. Lightly hazed orange golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is green hop, straw, citric spike, bitter orange, tangerine, pine. Taste comprises tangerine, mandarin, light bread dough, citric pith, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with an earthy hop bitterness. Decent.

Cask at the 23rd Egham beer festival, Egham, Surrey. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, hoppy, malty, rye aroma. Tastes the same, sweet, hoppy, malty, rye. Nice rich Rye IPA.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Frontier Explorer IPA ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, zest bitter, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Egham 23. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 260316

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Flower Pot. Stable low white head, crocheted lacing, clear golden body. Oily hops on the nose. Similar flavours of oily hops and citrus. Bittersweet tail. Easy to drink. Standard stuff (Derby 21.02.2016).
