Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 6.6% ABV
Deep blond color. The aroma is nice, perfumy, sweet, a bit floreal, maybe malty, and eventually some hops too. Solid mouthfeel, with good malt flavor, some residual sweetness, and strong hopping, that grows in the final. Not exciting, but well built.

Dark brown color with red shades, big head. It has a strong aroma of chocolate malt and some cardboard too. Dry mouthfeel, strong roasted malt flavor, with light caramel and chocolate; and the roasted malt is even more in the final, too much for my liking; this covers the hopping. Not bad, but not my style anyway.

Bottle. Black color, small white head. Complex beer! Smells cigar, port, raisins and honey. The taste is sweet at first, hints of vanilla. Lots of bitter dark chocolate, soy. The taste of a fine cigar rounds it off. Thick oily beer. Smooth. Very good!

[250 ml bottle, 2005 vintage] Pitch black color, with a thick chokolate brown foam. A sweet aroma with rasins, burnt sugar and caramell malt. The flavor is vineuse (?) and full with chokolate, sweet rasins, vanilla and a smooth after taste with honey.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 2 Feb 2009) Dark reddish brown colour with rocky, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, earthy hops and hints of rubber. Malty, fruity taste with chocolate, dark fruit and balanced doses of earthy hops in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Another nice and tasty Swedish hop experiment. Keep ’em coming.
