Can. Cloudy pale golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pineapple, tropical fruits, toasted grain, light basement. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture, moderate carbonation. Basically, a beer with pineapple juice. Thick mouthfeel (just like pineapple juice) due in part to the modest carbonation. Once you get past the fruit, you're left with a grainy finish.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/2/2017. Pours lightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, pear, apricot, grapefruit, red apple, mango, melon, guava, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, pear, apricot, grapefruit, red apple, mango, melon, guava, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, pear, apricot, grapefruit, red apple, mango, melon, guava, white grape, peppercorn, light banana/clove, honey, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent Belgian IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. A bit maltier than expected for the style, but really well balanced between local hops and Belgian yeast; nice malt backbone without being too sweet/heavy feeling for the style. Really great levels of complexity from the yeast and hops; nicely juicy feeling. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, red apple, berry, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, pears, dark/bready malt, and light-moderate fruity/earthy yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, red apple, berry, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, red apple, berry, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish fore a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, pears, dark/bready malt, and light-moderate fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is a delicious Belgian IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, pears, dark/bready malt, and light-moderate fruity/earthy yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very juicy and lightly dank hops; with great balance of the pear concentrate and malts. Not as yeasty as I expected, but solid presence. More of a Midwest IPA on the malt presence; but adequately bitter, hoppy, and drying. A very unique and enjoyable offering.

Nice hazy bronze and light brown coloured body with a thick, two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pure squash, spices, grain, light alcohol, a touch of tart funky yeasts and more brett and soured earth notes all around, but ends very nicely. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive spice flavour at first with a nice allspice and coriander seed flavour showng a ton of nutmeg and canella as well, all with a big malt backbone and the funkiness of the brett and soured elements. Aftertaste shows more of the spices and grain than anything else , with a large bunch of soured and funky notes as well that show some nice complexities with a good sweet finish of apples and pears with a bit more of the caramelised sugars. Overall, a very nice and interesting beer that is full of flavour and some nice complexities throughout, all with a solid profile. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Merchant's in Dearborn, Michigan on 10-July-2015 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 13-October-2017.

Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of molasses, nuttiness, smoke, raisin, plum, peppercorn, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of roast/bready malt, oak, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of molasses, nuttiness, smoke, raisin, plum, peppercorn, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roasted bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toasted oak, dark/brown bread, light molasses/dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, oak, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast flavors; with a nice roasted bitter/sweet and spicy yeast balance, with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and lightly silky/sticky/chalky/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is a very nice English/Belgian style stout. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, oak, and light-moderate fruity/spicy yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Nicely rich and complex malt profile with nice oak spiral presence. Not overly yeasty with pleasantly complementing fruitiness in the background. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth and creamy/bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with a mildly increasing warmth of 9.3% after the finish. Overall this is a delicious imperial saison. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV. Great rustic feeling yeast character complexity, with balanced spices and malt sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

Clear golden coloured body with a crisp glow of barely yellow tint and showing a very small, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of bourbon, rum, alcohol, light hops, a dose of sugars and way more alcohol - super potent and clearly the only scent that's really noticeable. Medium-bodied; Ridiculously strong bourbon and scotch/whiskey flavours at first with the oak, dryness and alcohol pungency that you'd expect, and then some! Aftertaste is a touch more resourceful with some light malt, a touch of subdued hops that are grassier and more resinous and ending with more of the barrel and oak notes that drive up the pungency and the potency as well. Overall, a nice and very-recognizably a bourbon oak aged beer, where those deep flavours after a few sips hit very hard and stay quite a while. Good to sample and recommended, especially if you like more pungent Imperial IPAs with the deep alcohol flavours. I sampled this sixteen ounce (pint-sized) can purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 13-June-2017 for US$6,59 by my dad - Thanks Dad, sampled at home in Washington on 08-September-2017.
