Description
Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire, in the center of Lille, Hôp[i] - beers and good vibes - opened its doors in mid-September 2022. The concept is multiple since it concentrates a microbrewery, a bar and a restaurant in the same place. Behind this project, Ludovic, an amateur brewer for six years who left the associative world to get started.

On tap at Hopi Lille. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, fruity spicy nose. Fruity, light citrusy, spicy and bit yeasty with floral touch in the finish. Moderate carbonation, sweetish finish.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. Hazy raspberry colour beer, small bubbly pinkish head. Tart but never acid raspberry and blueberry, a little blackberry. Mildly tart finish brings a little vanilla. Nice pastry sour.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, 09/04/2025.
Cherry red with a crimson cap that thins in time.
Nose is tarte berry fruits, hedgerow, grass, herb.
Taste comprises cherry stones, lactic tang, vanilla, straw, herb, sharp berry compote.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close light puckering edge.
Not bad for a pastry sour ... retains bitter and sour qualities.

Tap at the source. Light haze on a yellow gold. Good white foam. Crisp bright lemony hop on fresh dry grain. Light and easy with firm bitterness. Great logger.

Hazy pale yellow colour with lasting head. Somewhat grassy. Subtle tropical fruit. Grassy and dry.

Clear amber colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have toasted malt. Sweet base. Light but rounded bitterness.

Golden colour with lacy head. Well balanced IPA with a touch of caramel sweetness. Not very bitter
