(Bottle) Reddish golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of raspberries, sour cherries, vanilla and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with raspberries, rhubarb, cherries, grapefruit, vanilla, wood, a touch of cinnamon and a dry and fruity finish with a harsh acidity. Medium body, dry. On paper, it sounds like a trainwreck, but it works brilliantly. Great beer.

Bottle sample. A clear reddish brown colour. Aroma of sweet cherries, raspberry, vanilla, honey. Taste of sweet strawberries, vanilla, honey, caramel, lacto, nice!

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Hazy black, no head. Aroma of vanilla, coconut, milk chocolate, mocha, nuts, cream. Taste has sweet chocolate & cream with fruity blackcurrant & raisin underneath, some bitter toast & coffee, vanilla accent. Dry, woody, earthy finish, more cream & dark fruits with heating liqueur alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Unexpected execution of a Mead, that's for sure.

Flaska från SB. Mörk lilaröd. Lite ovanlig kombo av bär vilket gör det svårt att helt ringa in smakerna. Men bären är verkligen där, liksom vanlijen stöttar upp med en lagom sötma. Stor, fyllig, massor av bär, bra sötma och tryck. Mycket gott.

Flaska från SB, alkoholhalt 13%. Klar, röd. Sött och maffigt och packad med hallon. Verkligen en dessertmjöd. Bra tryck i, mycket hallon, stor kropp, värme från alkoholen. Inte snålat på ingredienserna. Gott.

Flaska från SB. Guldfärgad, klar. Snäll syrlighet och funk i doften, drar nästan åt lite lakto och rengöringsmedel som jag tycker passionsfrukt kan ge. I smaken mer fyllig sötma med mycket vita russin och ljust dessertvin.

Bottle. Reddish-brown. Honey and sour-raspberry nose, WOW that's powerful. The flavor is a massively complex endeavor that has a fantastic raspberry note. It's not as boozy as nearly-20% would indicate. Very smooth! Very impressive, just buy and try it.

Hazy red brown. Aroma is raspberry a little honey dried leaves and a bit of raspberry pips. Taste is sweet dense liquid and honey with some honey later. Good balance. Very creamy and oily. Nice. Very sweet.
